If you want to see a GREAT example of restaurant design (or several) and are ever in CA (specifically LA area), check out Anton Posniak's restaurants (Blanca, Nine Thirty, Tengu-anton-posniak.org). They are breath-taking examples of how the design is becoming just as important as the food.
